Xbox in the 2000s had become a household name. Making a name for itself with great exclusives, bringing unique experiences to the console space. Integrating their servers and other tech into games.
Halo 2 blew my mind. you could make parties and bring them with you to other games. Then between games, you could go to the Bungie site and look up your profile and track your progress in matchmaking. You could see how far you were from the next level, stats and the medals. This was 2004.
First thing, I forgot to mention in part one, was an Xbox misstep that no one talks about that year. Xbox bent the knee…………
